When you pack up the family and go on a trip, you have a choice of going in almost any direction you want. To be certain, there are things to do in many parts of the United States and throughout the world that will help to keep the entire family happy. Sometimes, however, you just want to get away to someplace warm and sunny and Florida is the best choice.
When it comes to family vacations, you have some options open to you once you cross the Florida State line. Perhaps the first thing that comes to your mind, however, is a stopover in Orlando and visiting Disney. They don’t call it the “Happiest Place on Earth” for no reason, and you are likely to have a smile on your face the entire time that you are there.
If you are going to stay in the Orlando area, you have many choices available when it comes to hotels. There are some very nice accommodations available outside of the parks for a discount. Some families, however, may want to go all out and stay at one of the Disney resorts. It is expensive, but you will be close to the parks and you can take advantage of all of the amenities that they have to offer.
Not very far from Orlando is another location that is an excellent choice for a family vacation. It is located on the West Coast and has a theme park, zoo and many other options for the entire family. I’m talking about Tampa, and you will love spending the day at Busch Gardens. There are also plenty of things to do that are water related, including fishing, snorkeling and even parasailing.
Another option for taking the family on vacation is to go to South Beach. This area of Miami is well known for its Art Deco district but it also has plenty of sandy beaches and sunshine. There is certainly something there to keep the entire family happy, so it is well worth a visit.
When it comes to family vacations, these options are only scratching the surface of what Florida has to offer. Take the time to visit today and you might just be surprised at what you will find. To be certain, a single family vacation in Florida is not enough, and you might just book your next trip while you are there.
